Greeting SB2 and AH of class of 2009,
Welcome to the Kwok The Chemistry Teacher.
In the spirit of Teaching and Learning, this blog will be used to enhance the curriculum design in your lesson. You will need to familiarise yourself to the functions available on this blog.
Each blog post is tagged to relevant labels pertaining to the content of the posts. The labels which will be relevant to you include the following:
1) "Content - title of topic" - e.g Content - electrochemistry
2) JC 2 - 09
3) CH203 (09)
Publish items relevant to this class will soon begin. However, before we actually use this platform, the following are a list of things you will need to do.
(a) Familiarise with the functions available on the blogs (e.g the label function, the dialogue box, the poll etc.)
(b) Create an account name which I can identity you by. Please leave a comment behind this post once you have decided on your comment name (Do ensure that it resembles your name.) - this account name will be used to identify you during discussion made in the dialogue box.
Once we are ready to use this avenue, be prepared that the blog will be used for online discussions via the dialogue box, answering of online quizzes and weekly chemistry polls (an example is given below), reading of content materials/teaching materials and finally independent learning where you will visit the chemistry site given as links so as to enhance your learning.
A feedback session will be conducted towards the end of term 2. Take care and have fun exploring!
Regards
Mr Kwok
